NCRUG aim to promote the use of our local rail services and stations. We believe that the use of local rail services should be encouraged both for environmental and social reasons.
The Group also acts as a communications channel between Arriva Trains Wales (ATW) and, where relevant, also with Northern (NT) and the customers of both these Train Operating Companies.
And where necessary, NCRUG act as a communications channel between Network Rail and users of the local stations.
The Group publishes a newsletter four times a year. This is distributed free to members of the Group.
The AGM is held in October. This is usually held at Frodsham.
Other meetings are held from to time to time as necessary.
The committee meets monthly, usually on the third Tuesday of every month (but check our Meetings section), at the Frodsham Community Centre, Fluin Lane, Frodsham WA6 7QN at 19:30.
Observers are welcome by prior notification to the Secretary.
