Liverpool Here We Come

Sunday 10th June was a significant milestone in the history of the North Cheshire Rail Users Group with the first train South from Liverpool over the Curve in 27 years.

It was decided not to advertise the service until late the previous night to give an element of surprise and it certainly worked.

The Northern Belle luxury touring train operated by West Coast Trains passed round the curve and over Frodsham Junction just after 10.30am.

NCRUG is to undergo a makeover over the Summer with a brand new image and a new logo is slowly being introduced over the next few days as we look forward to celebrating the curve reinstatement but also look forward to new and exciting challenges working with new franchise winners Keolis Amey (Transport for Wales) and saying farewell to Arriva Trains Wales.
