Join in the 175 Year Celebration of Rail in Cheshire ....

On the 19th September there is a celebratory parade from Chester Station to St John's Church to commemorate 175 Years of Railway Transport and the first trains arriving in the City of Chester.
The parade leaves the station at 2.30 for a Thanksgiving at the St John's Church given by Rev David Chesters.
23rd September 2015
On the 23rd September celebrate 175 Years of the Crewe to Chester and the Chester to Birkenhead Railway lines at Chester Station
23rd September 1840 saw the actual opening of the Crewe to Chester Railway.
Browse the Stalls at the station between 10am and 3pm and take a History Walk from the Station.
