Engineering trains continue to run to Frodsham Junction from Crewe via Chester, returning via Ditton then Acton Bridge to Crewe.
The train times are advised on the web site "Real Time Trains"; these trains tend to arrive early and leave earlier than advised; persons interested in seeing them should search the web site using the "Detailed" process then enter "Frodsham Junction", a time search from 00.00 to 23.59 and enter Freight trains in the appropriate field. They do not run every day and are subject to change!
The site can be viewed from the public footpath from Beechwood Road which leads down to the footbridge over the Expressway.
Good luck in your hunting!
