Nick Harling

3rd September 2015 - 1st November 2015

Acclaimed railway artist Nick Harling has achieved a major milepost; in that his painting "West by Western" is exhibited at the "Guild of Railway Artists" - "Railart " at the National Railway Museum, York, which runs until the 1st November. If you would like to visit the show and see some truly outstanding work by some of the biggest names in railway art including Nick Harlings; go to York!

Nick attended the official opening of the GRA's 'Railart 2015' Exhibition at the National Railway Museum in York on 3rd September. "It was wonderful to see my work hanging in such distinguished company" said Nick. Adding that "It is also a great bonus that one of my paintings ('West by Western') has already found a buyer".

Its been a proud time for Nick; who was commissioned to undertake a painting entitled "Between the Showers - Helsby 1960" to commemorate the completion of the restored station buildings there in 2014. This picture can be seen behind the booking office desks at Chester Station and on our web page.
