Potential Strike Action

13th March 2017

The recent announcement by the RMT Union regarding confirmation of strike action on Monday 13th March means there may be revised workings of Northern services on the North Cheshire Line and beyond.

Click here for the latest information from Northern on the industrial action including the emergency timetables for 13th March 2017.

Northern have provided these useful guidelines:

-  For up to date travel information please check your journery at www.northernrailway.co.uk
-  Alternatively, real time travel information can be obtained from http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/planjourney/search
-  Check before travelling via the above websites is the overriding message
-  Check out other modes of transport to your workplace, such as buses / trams / park & ride
-  Consider employee car sharing and car park facilities in your local area

Remember Northern services will be limited on 13th March due to RMT Union strike action, with a revised timetable in place

Trains will be busier, with reduced services (operating from 7am – 7pm only)
